About the group
The «Mir» Yiddish lovers club meets twice a week in Ashkelon. People come here both because Yiddish is the language of their childhood and because they want to hear it and remember.
Once a week a professional musician works with the club: they learn songs and prepare numbers for concerts and performances. And on the last Thursday of the month they celebrate everyone whose birthday fell that month.
