Terms of use
What this site does, what it promises about timing, and what not to expect from it.

What this site is
This is the digital office of Sofia Beilin, Deputy Mayor of Ashkelon: here you can submit an enquiry, follow its status, learn about the city's clubs and studios, and read material from her personal archive.
This is not the official website of the Ashkelon Municipality and does not replace city services. For anything requiring urgent action, call the city hotline 106 or the emergency services directly.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not submit an enquiry and do not use the assistant.
Enquiries and response time
The office answers every enquiry within the period stated when you submit it. The period is counted in working days, and the working week here runs Sunday to Thursday: Friday and Saturday do not count.
If a reply needs clarification from you, the clock stops until you answer: the office is not accountable for days when the matter is waiting on you. Once you reply, counting resumes.
After submitting you receive an enquiry number with an access code — for example SB-2026-1042-K7QF. The full number is needed to view the status; keep it. Without the code the status is not shown, and the code cannot be recovered from the number.
The deadline is for a substantive reply, not for the matter to be resolved by that date. Some matters are outside the Deputy Mayor's authority — those enquiries are forwarded to the right service, and you are told so.
The chat assistant
The assistant is software, not a member of staff. It answers from material published on this site: schedules, section pages, news, enquiry types.
Where the site has no answer, the assistant says so and offers to open an enquiry rather than inventing one. Its words are not an official response from the office and create no obligation: an official answer comes only in response to an enquiry.
Do not type personal data to the assistant — neither yours nor, still less, anyone else's. It does not ask for it and does not need it to answer.
What may not be submitted
- Other people's personal data without their knowledge, unless it is directly necessary to the substance of the enquiry.
- Insults, threats, or calls to violence or hatred.
- Knowingly false information, and enquiries made simply to occupy the office's time.
- Election campaigning, advertising and commercial offers: other channels exist for these.
The office may decline to answer such enquiries. Resubmitting the same question does not speed up a reply — it pushes back the queue for everyone else.
Material on this site
Texts, photographs and video published here — including archive material — belong to their rights holders. You may use them with attribution; for reprinting archive material or publishing it in the media, write to the office.
Schedules, addresses and prices for the city's clubs and studios are published as their organisers report them; the office cannot verify every figure daily. Check directly with the activity before you go.
The site links to external resources. The office is not responsible for their content, nor for what happens to your data there.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the site changes. The date of the last revision appears under the page title; when you submit an enquiry you accept the version published at that moment.
