34 students went on stage, aged from six to fifty two. The programme had 18 items: solo pieces on piano, violin and guitar, three duets, vocal numbers, and the ensemble, which played four pieces in a row.
210 people sat in the hall, no free chairs were left, and some parents watched standing by the doors. The concert lasted an hour and forty minutes, ten minutes longer than planned.
We passed the recordings of the performances to the families the following week. Teachers: piano Marina Goldstein, violin Igor Dubrovin, guitar Avi Barzilai, voice Natalia Katz.
The outcome
The ensemble played the whole programme without stopping for the first time, and eleven of the youngest students finished their first concert to the end.
